Provides specialist information, guidance and support for anyone in Lincolnshire living with sight and/or hearing loss. They understand the practical and emotional challenges that people with sensory loss can face in their everyday lives and focus on promoting independence, wellbeing and accessibility. They aim to help people maintain independence and dignity in every aspect of their lives, and work closely with carers, families and other organisations to increase their understanding of the impact of sensory loss. If you or someone you know has been diagnosed with dementia, or mild cognitive impairment, the Lincolnshire Memory Support Service can offer information and guidance on how to live as well as possible with the diagnosis. They can provide information and guidance relating to the diagnosis as well as support your carer and/or loved ones with how they can support you and themselves in the future. SEND Local Offer brings together information for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities and their families living in Lincolnshire.
Shine Help build a network of support which will enable people to live independently in their own homes and communities with access to a range of activities and services that support recovery and good mental health; and generally, contributes to improved health, wellbeing, independence, and choice for people with a mental illness including serious mental illness.
The Lincolnshire Wellbeing Service, known as Wellbeing Lincs, is funded by Lincolnshire County Council and delivered by Lincolnshire’s district councils. The service is designed to help you live independently. It can help to support your needs around the home, such as equipment and adaptations or access to Telecare. It offers a helping hand through life’s changes, which might include:
- Ill health
- Disability
- Changes to financial circumstances
- Changing medical need
- Bereavement
- Lack of family support
- Loneliness and social isolation
- Change in general situation circumstance.
